Set up in the morning, running by the afternoon
No implementation project, no data migration, no training week.
Four things, once
Create your firm
Name, city and your own details. You become the firm admin. Nothing to pay on the free plan.
Add your people
Partners get the desktop and the app; clerks get the app. Each active person takes a seat.
Enter live cases
The matters you are running this week — case number, court, client, fee and who is carrying it.
List the dates
Put each case in the diary on its next date. From then on, the diary keeps itself moving.
The loop that runs your diary
This is the whole working rhythm of the system. Everything else is a list you can filter.
Morning: read the list
The diary opens on today. Case numbers, courts, clients, who is carrying each file and what it is listed for. Print it, or read it off the phone.
In court: the clerk reports
Your clerk submits the outcome from the app — adjourned, part-heard, decided, dismissed, rejected, cancelled — with the next date and a note.
Back at the office: approve
The firm admin sees the queue. Approve, and the outcome goes on the hearing. Reject with a reason, and nothing on the case moves.
Automatically: the diary moves
The next date is listed, the case status follows the outcome, and the case appears in that day's list without anyone typing it again.
On a decision: the partner is told
When a matter is decided, dismissed or rejected, the partner who owns the client is notified rather than finding out weeks later.
Nothing forgotten
Hearings whose date has passed with no outcome recorded are counted on the dashboard until somebody deals with them.
The app is deliberately small
A clerk standing outside a courtroom does not need a dashboard. They need their cases, today's dates, and a form with three fields.
- Only the cases assigned to them
- Today's and upcoming hearings for those cases
- Submit an outcome: what happened, the next date, a note
- See whether the office approved it, and why not if it was rejected
The staff app is on its way — the desktop system and the approval queue are ready for it now.
Start with today's list.
Set your firm up in a couple of minutes, enter the cases you are running this week, and let your clerks report from court.
